
We all know that Coke is one of the favorite drinks among bloggers and gamers due to the sugar rush it provides, but researchers at Saint Louis University in Missouri have successfully developed a fuel cell that runs on any sugar source, including Coke. This fuel cell boasts the potential of lasting up to four times longer when compared to the standard lithium ion battery we use today on a single charge. Imagine heading into a 7-11 and purchasing two bottles of Coke – one to quench your thirst, while the other is used to power your iPod.
