Hino has developed a commercial device that is capable of informing the driver whenever his/her driving goes against the Japanese government’s strict guidelines against pollution, courtesy of a bunch of sensors that are placed strategically all over your car. I’m not too sure how it works exactly, but I suppose the Hino Drive Master Pro is suitable for cars that are older since all new cars must meet the environmental regulations beforehand. Just make sure that the meter does not go all the way to red and you should do fine. Otherwise, it is time to send the old jalopy to the mechanic for a check up.
