KFE Japan has recently released the Exemode DV528 camcorder that uses SD memory cards as the storage media of choice. Features include a 5.0 megapixel CMOS sensor, 64MB of built-in memory, and the ability to record VGA videos at 30fps in XviD format – something that is rarely found in other camcorders today. Too bad the Exemode DV528 does not support the new SDHC formats, maxing out at a 2GB SD card currently. The Exemode DV528 retails for approximately $170 and is pretty portable measuring 34mm x 95mm x 72mm and weighing 150g.
