Available in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB capacities, you can now pre-order your Network Walkman today at unbelievable prices. And I meant that in a negative manner. The 2GB NW-A805 will retail for $235, while the 4GB NW-A806 and 8GB NW-A808 come with $294 and $392 price tags which certainly aren’t worth the money forked out where value is concerned. Each of these players measure 3.46″ x 1.72″ x 0.36″ and come with a 2″ QVGA display, a 30 hour battery life for audio and 8 hours for video. U.K. orders will begin to ship next month, with no word on whether those living Stateside will ever see these. I suppose this is one Walkman everyone could do without with regard to the price.
