Hitachi’s Wooo line of HDTVs has received five new additions that are capable of supporting the iVDR (Information Versatile Disk for Removable Usage) disk, making them a world’s first. The iVDR is actually a removable hard drive and can be used with other compatible products such as computers and in-car audio systems. The new Wooo HDTVs feature integrated analog and digital TV tuners, HDMI ports, a host of audio out jacks, and an SD/MMC card reader. You can pick up this new line of Wooo HDTVs in Japan from next month onwards along with 80GB and 160GB iVDR cartridges.
