Those living in Hong Kong will be pleased to know that local taxis are now offering HSDPA access for free. This means you can now finish up whatever reports you owe your superior on the way to work and e-mailing it before reaching the office. If you want to be part of this trial, all you need to do is install the Mobile Connect software and hook up to a USB modem and you’re good to go. So far, all 15,000 cabs in Hong Kong have not yet been retrofitted with the modem, so keep a lookout for taxis with a Vodafone modem billboard if you want to surf on your destination.
