Inelix tracks your car via Internet

Remember the sentient car from Knight Rider? What about James Bond controlling his BMW 750iL from a Sony Ericsson cellphone? Both fictional cases are now closer to reality (albeit still far off in terms of functionality) as Inelix has developed a system that enables driver to unlock their car doors, start the vehicle, disable the engine, or even display the vehicle’s current location as long as there is an Internet connection. The kit leans toward the expensive side, retailing between $600 to $1,000 but it is a small investment to know where your kids really go when they take your beloved ride out for a spin up till the wee hours of the morning. In the meantime, you can check out a demo of the system here.
