Jobo is currently working on the photoGPS, a GPS device that can be mounted on a hot-shoe of a compatible SLR camera, embedding GPS data into your EXIF files automatically. Not only will you receive the location data in figures, you will also get the name of the place where you took the photo. The Jobo photoGPS is powered via USB, and will only be activated whenever needed, resulting in an energy capacity of a year when used conservatively. I guess keeping track of your travels in the future will be made easy with the photoGPS. There is no word on when it will be commercially available nor how much it costs.
