Kyocera has unveiled the M1000 messaging handset at CTIA, featuring a fold open layout and dual displays, but unfortunately the internal display measures a mere 1.8″ which is far too inadequate for such a text intensive device. Both internal and external displays are 262k color TFT screens, where the external one sports a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels and the internal one stands at 160 x 120 pixels. Additional features include Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3 megapixel camera that does both photo and video, and Java support. There is no word on when this EV-DO capable handset will be released nor how much does it costs.
