What happens when you get older, your hearing starts to fail you, and you tend to confuse trees with people from afar? Why, using one of those new-fangled cellphones will do nothing but add to your frustration as you end up taking pictures with the built-in camera instead of making a call due to the convoluted user interface. The Life phone aims to change that, featuring an orange-backlit screen, an extra strong vibration function, and a big red emergency button that calls a pre-programmed number when pressed. You won’t find anything fancy like music and video playback or a digital camera – the Life phone is just meant to make and receive calls as well as text messages. The Life phone will be sold worldwide this May.
