Mustek unveils PMP638 at CeBIT

Let’s see. Uninspiring design – check. SD expansion slot – check. 1GB of internal memory – check. Video and audio playback of the most popular media formats – check. I guess you could say that the Mustek PMP638 is a pretty ordinary portable media player by all accounts, even after taking the 2 megapixel camera into account. Just in case you’re wondering why the PMP638 looks extremely familiar, it is actually a rebranding of the Meizu JXD638, leading us to let out a collective meh. Those who still want to pick up the Mustek PMP638 will be able to do so this April for 200 Euros.
