Nike has announced that it is currently working to ensure its entire line of running shoes be compatible with Apple’s iPod nano range before the year is over. This announcement comes after some soft financial results during the third quarter, and the company hopes that such an initiative will be able to boost the sales of Nike running shoes in the coming year. I’m not too sure about such a move – will people actually choose a Nike shoe just for the sole (no pun intended) reason of hooking it up to the iPod nano via the Nike+iPod Sport Kit? I personally don’t do any running as part of my fitness regime – what’s your take on this?
