Remember the Nokia N99 concept that we covered back in January? Apparently that could be very close to what the final design looks like if this recent patent filing is anything to go by. Nokia engineers are indeed hard at work on a new slider handset featuring a QWERTY keyboard and a numerical keypad. Some of the rumored specifications include a 9-way front joystick button, 16GB of flash memory (too far fetched even for me), a miniSD slot, a 3.2″ widescreen display, support for a host of video and audio formats, WiFi connectivity, and a whooping 8 megapixel camera. What do you think the final specs will be?
