Here is yet another female-centric cellphone that might just appeal to audiophiles. Featuring 128MB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot (up to 1GB), you will be able to store a pretty decent amount of songs on the Philips 598 before replacing your playlist. Several functions that appeal to ladies only include a woman’s diary and calendar, the all-important shopping list, a discounts manager, personal card info, body weight index and basal metabolic rate measurement. Additional features include a 1.8″ 262k color TFT display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and JAVA support. If only Bluetooth A2DP was supported for easy listening without getting into a tangled mess. Being a female-oriented handset, I would like to know if I am the only one scratching my head wondering why didn’t the Philips 598 come in pink.
