Philips DCP850 receives iPods

Nearly everyone and their dog in the developed world has an iPod, which explains the deluge of third party iPod docks that flood the market. Philips is not averse to this trend offering the DCP850 portable DVD player that comes with an iPod dock, enabling you to enjoy movies on its 8.5″ widescreen display that eclipses the iPod’s small display by far and large. Features include Dolby Digital speakers, support for DVDs, CDs, MP3 and even DivX files for a wide range of playback options. Unfortunately, battery life tanks at a mere 2.5 hours, relegating this to being connected to an AC charger for the better part of its life. The Philips DCP850 retails for a shade under $200.
