Networked homes are but getting more and more common by the day, but unfortunately there are still cases where you can’t get complete WiFi coverage throughout your entire home, leaving you with no alternative other than to implement a wired connection, or is there something else out there? Powerline connections have been around for quite a while now and therein lies your answer. Buffalo recently unveiled a new Powerline network system that offers speeds of up to 190Mbps at a price – $178 for the base and one receiver, with additional receivers costing another $115. You will only be able to find these in Japan at the moment.
