Tiny Pictures is one of the “the next 25 startups to watch” featured in the Business 2.0 March issue. I met John Poisson, the CEO, at the magazine’s party last Thursday, and he gave me a quick demo of the Radar service they are now offering on Danger powered devices like the Sidekick 3. It enables you to send pictures with comments, basically you are having a visual conversation via email with your friends. I like the interface a lot, it looks good and easy to use. Hubert and I would not use it, but I can imagine a lot of teens enjoying it.
According to Tiny Picture, Radar for Danger powered devices takes browsing and commenting on pictures to a new level by providing: -instant notification of new pictures and comments from friends -a native user interface optimized for the widescreen display, keyboard and input controls -always-on availability for easy switching between Radar and other mobile applications
