Microsoft is ready to send the 360-degree RingCam to the manufacturing lines in due time, although a specific date has yet to be determined. Also known as Roundtable, this unique VoIP phone with camera functionality will retail for approximately $3,000, making it lean toward the enterprise market rather than home users. Apparently, there will be a range of devices to come from the Roundtable line, so cross your fingers and hope that Microsoft will work on a consumer- and wallet-friendly version in due time. The idea of a Roundtable is pretty neat, since you don’t need to pass the webcam around during a meeting.
