Russians get Nokia 8800 Monaco Edition

ISSE from Russia are preparing to sell the Nokia 8800 Special Edition cellphone, better known as the Monaco. Each of these handsets have been crafted with jewelry and come in individual designs and over-the-top prices. Are special edition handsets really worth collecting? After all, technology isn’t something that appreciates over time, and collecting cellphones as an investment definitely won’t pay off in the same manner as purchasing watches. In fact, you will most likely lose money with time. Will you actually drop some top dollars for a special edition handset that you’ll probably change within a couple of years?
