Notebook mice should be small and portable enough for it to fit into any notebook case or bag comfortably without taking up more space than it should, and this is particular demonstrated by the Samwa wireless optical mouse which is powered by a couple of AA batteries as you can store the USB dongle under the mouse when traveling. I suppose those two batteries do add to its weight considerably, but that’s the price to pay for a wire-free environment. The Samwa wireless optical mouse can last up to 120 hours of autonomy or a whopping 297 days in standby mode before requiring fresh batteries. It measures 52mm x 90mm x 36mm and weighs 64g without batteries.
