Remember the T-Mobile Sidekick 3 that came with everything but the kitchen sink? For those who loved the cellphone but could not afford one and do not need all the features packed inside will be pleased to know that a slimmed down version is currently in the works. Known as the Sidekick ID, this barebones handset will drop the Bluetooth connection, MP3 playback, digital camera, and microSD expansion slot, hence making it possible to sport a smaller girth. I suppose if you want a pure messaging and basic communications tool, you can’t really go wrong with the $150 Sidekick ID. Photo courtesy of CrunchGear.
