The Slacker Portable Player will be the next portable media player to hit the market, featuring a huge 4″display that works great for those into portable video. Features include storage capacities that range from a paltry 2GB to a respectable 120GB, offering WiFi connectivity that is best used with Slacker.com’s service. A monthly fee of $7.50 is attached to this service, but it lets you stream stations directly to the player via WiFi. Those who won’t fork out that money will have to settle for ads sprinkled intermittently between songs. Hopefully the Slacker Portable Player won’t suffer from sales numbers that reflect its name when summer rolls around.
