
Everyone who has a Wii will know that direct sunlight will interfere with the sensor bar, but a couple of modders from Tom’s Hardware decided to take up the challenge of building a solar-powered Wii to keep them occupied during the summer. Amazingly, the sunlight was enough to power a TV and speakers in addition to the Wii, albeit with some help from a battery to provide up to 6 hours of gaming on a bright, sunny day. That is certainly more than enough time for you to have a rolling good time on the grass with Wii Tennis – remember to put on enough sunblock!
