All of a sudden, the solid state drive (SSD) market seems to be heating up with even DRAM module manufacturers joining the race. Super Talent will follow behind Intel, Samsung, and SanDisk in producing 1.8″, 25″, and 3.5″ SSD variants from next month onwards. Super Talent claims that these drives will be 100% backwards compatible with current hard drives, available in 32Gb, 64GB, and 128GB capacities. Pricing details will not be divulged until April rolls around, but you certainlycan expect some pretty high figures considering the costs of producing SSDs.
