Samsung has recently announced the Q1P UMPC that comes with Windows Vista certification, making it the first UMPC from Samsung to do so. You get an Intel Pentium processor running at 1GHz, a 60GB hard drive, and 1GB of RAM, giving you a truly portable out-of-office solution. Additional features of the 1.7 pound UMPC include a 7″ widescreen LCD touch display, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately, its battery life is nothing to shout about at 2.5 hours. You can now pick up the Vista-certified Samsung Q1P for $1,299, but don’t expect to engage in some serious portable gaming with such limited hardware.
