The Nintendo Wii isn’t just good for gaming, but music as well thanks to the efforts of The Amazing Rolo who worked on a Wii Loop Machine software that enables the user to sync, control, and manipulate loops in real time via the Wii remote. Anyone owning a Mac running on OS X (10.4.8 or 10.4.9 are recommended) with Bluetooth connectivity and a Wii remote ought to download the software and start composing their own mixes. The download also includes a few sample loops and a demonstration video to get you started. DJing looks set to experience an explosion in growth as millions of Wii and Mac owners will be able to experiment with this interesting homebrew software.
