Car air fresheners are old hat, but the XCard by Toto of Japan brings a new twist to the idea. Measuring a mere 1.5mm in the thickness department, this optical car air freshener utilizes fibrous activated carbon along with a hose of micro pores located on its surface to absorb any unwanted odor inside the vehicle. The activated carbon, when exposed to sunlight, will decompose the odor via a photo catalyst. This deodorant effect can last up to half a year before a replacement is required. Since the XCard is so slim, you can basically attach it anywhere you like in the vehicle. The XCard will be available from 9th March onwards at a yet undisclosed price.
