Yanko Design has a pretty interesting concept MP3 player by Eric Liu that doubles up as the zipper on your coat. Don’t expect any telekinesis involved when it comes to controlling the Zipper MP3 player, as you still have to use your fingers and fiddle with it the traditional way. What sets it apart is the position where it’s at – zip it up and you will be able to enjoy your tunes, pull it down and the device will pause automatically. Volume and track sequence can be controlled by swinging the zipper back and forth. A pair of wireless earbuds is thrown into the equation, powered by what is possibly Bluetooth. Pretty neat idea – let’s just hope you can remove the Zipper as everyone knows MP3 players can’t swim on their own.
