Canon’s HV20 offers high quality HD video and digital photo recording in a small package that’s easy to carry around. Features include a 2.96 megapixel CMOS image sensor with a 10x optical zoom lens, 24p Cinema Mode to record videos that look like a film, and both HD and Standard Definition recording modes to choose from. The inclusion of Canon’s DIGIC DVII image processor is a boon as the user will be able to capture meticulous detail and superior color reproduction no matter what they shoot. The Canon HV20 ought to be in retail stores this month for $1,099.
