The Wii is barely half a year old in the market, and NTT DoCoMo has already paid homage to Nintendo’s hugely successful console with its D904i cellphone. This new cellphone features a built-in motion sensor that enables D904i owners to play games in the same manner as those found on the Wii, albeit with dumbed down graphics due to the cellphone’s hardware limitation. I’m not too sure whether this idea will take off since it can get pretty disorienting as you wave the cellphone around while trying to keep track of what’s happening on the screen. Less frantic games like pinball would make a better choice IMHO.
