
The Keepon robot is the brainchild of Marek Michalowski and Hideki Kozima, researchers who are working on dance-oriented nonverbal play between children and the robot itself. The Keepon attempts to provide emotional and attentional interaction with children thanks to its two eye cameras and a nouse-mounted microphone. I’m not sure about you, but this looks like just another beatbot doll that comes in a totally outlandish shape. Somehow I suspect ladies would melt in the presence of these while voicing out, “Oooohhh he’s soooo cute!”.
