A couple of drawing robots from Peter Foucault came with Sharpie pens mounted on them, and are smart enough to create randomly generated art pieces by moving across the paper mat located beneath them. What made these robots adorable was the fact that these robots will automatically shut down every few minutes, only to be awakened when somebody in the audience clapped loud enough. The sleeping routine guarantees that every piece of artwork is truly unique. While the result might not be rub shoulders with a Picasso, it is pretty interesting to see folks cheer at a robot drawing random lines.
