Gateway has recently unveiled its latest tablet PC, dubbed the E155C. You can say that Gateway certainly did its homework well as the E155C looks like a normal laptop with the inclusion of a swivel hinge and digitizer without an inflated price tag accompanying it. Features include a 12.1″ 1280 x 800 widescreen display which can be operated by a Wacom stylus or a finger, an internal optical drive, a biometric fingerprint scanner, an Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 processor, Gigabit Ethernet, and WiFi connectivity. The launch model will come with a recommended retail price of $1,850, but the price goes upwards as you throw in more memory, a larger hard drive, and a faster processor.
