Gold iPods look like ingots

King Midas has dropped by recently and touched the iPod, giving what is already a beautiful portable media player a brighter sheen of 24-carat gold with a mirror finish. Other than the new luxurious color, everything inside remains the same. There will be 30GB and 80GB models available in gold, and they retail for £299 and £399 respectively. Gold iPod nano models are also available, but so far no price tag has been attached to those. I wonder whether pawn shops will accept these blinged out gadgets as collateral one day.
