The HTC Census is a dual-band CDMA/EV-DO device that comes with WiFi connectivity as well as a phone jack – something that will leave many scratching their heads. The reason for this is you can hook up the Census to a landline network for data purposes. Interestingly, this data-only device lacks a microphone or speakerphone for you to carry a conversation. Powered by an Intel Bulverde 416MHz processor and Windows Mobile 5 for Pocket PC, the Census also sports a 3.5″ QVGA touchscreen display, an SD memory card slot, an integrated SiRFStar III GPS receiver and a fingerprint sensor for added security.
