HTC’s upcoming Shift UMPC is pretty impressive, to say the least. The HTC Shift will come with Intel’s latest Ultra Mobile Platform 2007 which is based on the Intel Pentium M, comprising of the Intel A110 processor, an Intel 945GU Express chipset, and an Intel ICH74 I/O controller hub. With that in mind, the Shift will probably feature a battery life that is longer than usual, something most laptops and UMPCs sorely lack. Other features include a QWERTY keyboard, 3G connectivity, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0, and WiFi.
