Here is a concept design for a house lamp that folds open when you require some light and stored neatly into a tiny rectangle when not in use. The Jumo Lamp is definitely a departure from traditional designs that dictates a lamp remain as it is, whether turned on or off. There is just something about the shiny white surface that encompasses its whole body which attracts me to it, just like how its light will send insects scurrying over during those warm summer nights. Will any household fixture manufacturer pick up this design from Edouard Larmaraud?
