(Web 2.0- Nokia web platform launch party, 04/16) – According to Nokia, S60 will be the first mobile software platform that enables the creation of widgets using familiar standards-based Web technologies. Ganesh Sivaraman, in charge of the S60 browser marketing, gave me a quick demo of several widgets on his phone: Reuters news, Amazon and Flickr.
These widgets enhance tremendously the web user experience on small displays.. In the photo of the Nokia team in charge of the s60 browser, Ganesh is in the middle. I will update the names list on the photo later (sorry Nokia team, I left your cards at my office).
