Robot goes snow surfing

Researchers at the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College stumbled upon the idea of using their own solar-powered robots to go snow sufing, although the speeds aren’t exactly at the exhilirating level. All they did was hook up a sled to the robot and went for a ride not at breakneck speeds, but at a slow walking pace. I suppose this is a much better option that running out of breath while traversing snowy slopes that have a steep gradient. At least this mode of transport is environmentally friendly.
