I’ve never really managed to think more than a couple of moves ahead of my opponent in chess, which probably explains the whipping I received back in school. I suppose if I had the USB Chess game then, I would’ve posed a more formidable challenge, but that’s all in the past now. Chess fans can pick up this device which consists of a roll-up board that can be connected to a PC via USB. This soft board keeps track of the positions of all the physical pieces on the board thanks to the included software, and even gives you hints on what your next best move could be. A game can also be saved halfway just in case you have an emergency to attend to. Your victories and losses can also be recorded for further analysis in order to improve. There is no word on pricing or availability though.
