While the Wii has surprised everyone (even Nintendo themselves) with its success in the early part of the game, is there enough momentum to carry it past the finish line? Apparently so, if the Wii Blaster from GameStop is anything to go by. Retailing for $20, this Wii Blaster acts as a zap gun controller and has been rumored to be released on May 1st, making it the perfect companion to those who want to pick up Resident Evil 4 later this summer. I’m sure a Han Solo game from LucasArts will sell about a gazillion of these. Is the Nintendo Wii a novelty? If you’re a proud owner, do you still use the Wii on a regular basis, or is it gathering dust sitting pretty in your living room?
