
Acer has just unveiled a new GPS personal navigation system that will definitely appeal to entry-level users, thanks to the uber affordable price of €149. Known as the Acer V200, this device comes with a standard 3.5″ TFT LCD 65k color display at 240 x 320 resolution, an integrated SiRFStar III GPS chipset, and a 300MHz Samsung S3C2442XL processor. 64MB RAM and a similar amount of ROM ought to be enough for basic navigation needs, while an SD/MMC memory card slot offers future expansion options. Since it comes with maps of France on the Destinator 6 navigation software, chances are it will be marketed in France only.
