We have smart schools, smart bombs, and now, smart doors. This high-tech automated door can be opened to fit your size, although I don’t really see whether there is any practical use for it or not. What if there is a steady stream of fat and thin people walking through it, does that mean the door will open fast enough to accomodate everyone of different sizes? Chances are this door will be a white elephant, taking up more electricity and adding to the global warming woes indirectly. I say stick with well oiled hinges and you’re good to go.
