Mention Book of Life and chances are your mind will flash images of the end days, where those whose names are not written in there will be cast into a lake of fire for all eternity. The Book of Life concept by Eric Zhang is an entirely different proposition, featuring a normal book with some space on the left side that enables people to plant whatever they want over there. Eight tiny LED lights are attached at the bottom of the plants so that the book can be turned on during the evenings to become an impromptu lamp. The only problem I forsee would be getting used to the way the Book of Life reads as the pages open outwards to the right.
