Canon PowerShot S5 IS

Canon has recently launched the PowerShot S5 IS digital camera, featuring an 8 megapixel CCD sensor and a 12x optical zoom, along with Canon’s very own DIGIC III image processor, Face Detection Technology, and a new Red-Eye Correction feature to give you the best shots possible under most conditions. The PowerShot S5 IS also features an increased sensitivity range of ISO 80 to 1600, a higher resolution 2.5″ vari-angle LCD, extended video recording, and PictBridge support. Sounds pretty much like the next natural evolution for Canon cameras without offering anything truly groundbreaking. More features are available after the jump.
