Want to set up a date between your Nintendo Wii and a computer? Get the Datel Drive Doctor device which is attached to your beloved Gamecube descendant by a little bit of soldering action. Once done, your computer and Wii will be able to interface with each other directly via its USB port. The possibilities of such a setup is limited by your imagination and homebrew programming skills, as you can view the Wii’s data streams in real time or create your own mods and homebrew games, although nobody has actually done anything about it yet. The Datel Drive Doctor retails for $35, and hopefully it will be a boost to the Wii homebrew community just like how the R4 Revolution card has been a boon to the DS homebrew scene.
