Most website authors and publishers hope that their stories will be Digg-ed enough times to make it to the front page for the much desired “Digg effect”, but not many succeed even after being in the scene for many a month. Why bother with the virtual Digg button when you can always work on a real life Digg counter? All you need to do is press the button, and the counter will automatically increase your count by 1 while saying “dug”. Unfortunately, there is a 999 Digg limit, but since this is a project it shouldn’t matter that much. A reasonable knowledge of D.I.Y. is required before cobbling together this Digg Counter. Now, a story about making your own Digg Counter is one sure way of bringing in the diggs!
