Evolution and progress has brought the number of megapixels to consumer class digital cameras to double digits, and these are certainly priced the same to early 2 megapixel cameras of yore. DXG from U.S. has recently unveiled the DXG-711 digital camera that boasts a whopping 7.1 megapixels, retailing for a dirt cheap $149.99. The features aren’t something worth trumpeting over as it shares pretty much what its brethren in the market already have – a 2.5″ display, 3x optical zoom, preset modes, 32MB of integrated memory, a voice recorder, and video recording capability, all packed into a body measuring less than an inch thick. The design could do with some work though.
