Everyone knows Tetris, and most of us love this fantastic puzzle game that has brought many a good memory. The good folk from Spark Fun has created a fresh new take on Tetris, featuring a 4 x 4 button pad that utilizes 5mm diameter LEDs. The very idea of LED Tetris is nothing short of cool, boasting 16 microcontrollers, 720 LEDs, 1,300 lines of code, 28,800 bits being updated per second, and 256 MIPs, requiring 9 people to complete the project. Controller it is easy – just press the current block at the corresponding area to rotate, drop, or move it left and right. Neat stuff!
