HP aims to make it easier for customers to meet their printing needs in the near future by offering new cartridge options at a lower price point. This different method of doing things offer low purchase prices to those who rarely print, while customers who think they’re operating a printing press at home can settle for a lower cost-per-page solution. Three new color-coded categories have been introduced to help implement this strategy, and they are blue (standard), green (value), and red (specialty). This is a good initiative from HP as it shows that the company is listening to consumers’ needs and wants, as inkjet cartridges are more expensive than fuel drop for drop.
